The ambulance service whether it be private or nationalised is great, but sometimes we need a little bit of help from above to get the right care to the right people at the right time or to move patients who are unwell from remote locations to specialist definitive medical care.

 

This inspiring story is about a girl from Hertfordshire who needed the services of Herts Air Ambulance and how it affected her recovery.

In 2010 Kate Oliver was 20 years old and working as a croupier in London when a serious car accident in Welwyn Garden City caused her to suffer a traumatic brain injury and left her fighting for her life.
